How do I get started?
Setting up a Lociloci account is as easy as 1-2-3:
- Sign up on Lociloci.com.
- Invite friends and family. As many as you like. No limit.
- You can now locate your friends whenever you like!

Is Lociloci safe? Who can locate me?
This is how Lociloci works:
- You can only be positioned by the people you have accepted as friends
- If one person, “A”, removes “B” from the friends list – neither “A” or “B” will be able to position one another.
- We send SMS messages to all users, reminding them of the service.
- You can temporarily hide by using the hide my position-button.

In which countries does Lociloci work?
Lociloci is available in Finland, Sweden and Norway. In these countries, Lociloci will work with all mobile phones. No download, no app, no GPS needed!
However, if you have, say, a Swedish friend on Lociloci that visits Norway, it is not possible to locate him/her. This is because we use positioning data from the mobile operators, and unfortunately, they will not pass data from one country to another.
Do I need a special phone?
No. Lociloci can locate any type of mobile. If you want to access the map to see where your friends are – it is right there, on the web – or on the mobile web.
Who pays for what?
Time to sort out once and for all how our payment works.
A member pays a membership fee.
The membership includes possibility to have unlimited amount of friends and make unlimited amount of positions.
Friends can be positioned for free
If a member invites a friend to the service – the friend can accept to be positioned. Just to be “viewed” in the service is totally free to the friend.
However, if your friend also wants to locate you and some more of his/her friends in order to see where they are on a map – then the friend can upgrade to a Lociloci paying membership.
In short:
- If you want to use the service to locate a friend – you pay a membership fee.
- If you just want to be visible to someone – it’s free.
How do I add/invite friends?
To invite friends, simply click on the Invite friends button.
Fill in your friend’s mobile number and name. An sms text message will be sent to your friend.
By responding to the sms, your friend accepts to be located by you.
Your invited friend is not charged anything.
If our friend also wants to locate you or others, he/she will need to upgrade to a paying membership.
Can I locate my car, boat, motorbike?
Lociloci is about to introduce GPS-devices to the service. These will enable you to locate your car, boat, or any other moving vehicle. We are in beta testing mode with a number of units being tested by invited users. If you want to know more, pre-order, or even become a beta tester, contact us.

How does it work?
Lociloci will find your friends using the base station of the mobile operators.
This technology allows Lociloci to position any mobile phone, regardless of model, and without needing any software or application for download.
If you want to locate your car or your boat – you can do that too. Lociloci cooperates with providers of location devices making it possible for you track your boat, car or any other vehicle in real-time. More information can be found on our page “Can I locate my car, boat, motorbike?“
How much does it cost?
Yes, there is a flat fee. For this fee you can invite unlimited number of friends and you can position them as often as you like.

The friends that you invite to locate will not be charged, unless they wish to locate you or others.
How do I update someone’s position?
When you enter Lociloci, all your friends are automatically updated. A green light indicates that your friend has recently been positioned.
When the position is more than five minutes old the green light will disappear.
To update the location, just click on your friend.
How accurate is the position?
The accuracy of the position can vary from a few blocks up hundreds of meters, depending on where you are.
If you are in a city, the accuracy is better than on the countryside. Accuracy can also depend on our mobile operator.
Lociloci will show the accuracy of the location by showing a circle on the map. The exact location is within this circle.
Lociloci also shows signal strength with the small bar-icon.
Did you recieve an invitation?
Did you recieve an invitation to Lociloci from a friend?
Simply reply to the sms text message and your friend will be able to locate you.
There will be no charge for you. When you have accepted to be positioned by your friend, you will have access to your own personal location history.
If you also want to be able to locate your friend, it is easy to upgrade to a paying membership.

How do I end my subscription?
You can, at any time, end your membership in your My Account settings page or by filling out our contact form and confirming that you want to Delete your account.

When you open an account with Lociloci you will get a 30-day FREE trial. At the end of the 7-day period, Lociloci costs only 399 SEK /year (which is equivalent to 33 SEK/month). Payment is done by invoice. With one Lociloci account you can invite and see all your family members and friends. It’s completely free for your family members and friends to be positioned by you.
If you end your membership within the first 7-days you will not be charged a fee.
To end your free membership fill out our contact form and confirm that you want to Delete your account.

Payment Norway
Special price for Norwegian customers! When you open an account with Lociloci you will get a 30-day FREE trial. At the end of the 30-day period, Lociloci costs only 399 NOK /year (which is equivalent to 33 NOK/month, previously 100 NOK/month). Payment is done by Klarna invoice. With one Lociloci account you can invite and see all your family members and friends. It’s completely free for your family members and friends to be positioned by you.
